The client
Caroline Rush is the former CEO of the British Fashion Council and a senior leader in the global fashion industry. She was preparing a TEDx talk to share her industry perspective with a much broader audience.
The challenge
Caroline's expertise was never in question. The task was to turn deep sector knowledge into a TEDx talk that people outside fashion would follow and remember, while managing nerves on a high-visibility stage, with limited time to prepare.
What we did
- Mapped the audience and simplified the message for non-specialists
- Restructured the talk around one clear argument
- Rehearsed pacing, emphasis and presence
- Prepared her for stage nerves, and stayed on hand for refinements right up to the event, including support on the day
The result
A clear, accessible TEDx talk grounded in executive authority, reaching well beyond fashion industry circles. More confidence and composure on stage, and a very positive response from Caroline.
