The client
Xenia Zakharova works in Global PR at GlamAI. She was preparing for her first English-language podcast, representing both herself and the company, and wanted her communication to match her expertise.
The challenge
A podcast needs different skills from everyday business English: keeping a natural conversational flow, delivering ideas with confidence and staying engaging through a long discussion. With little time before the recording, the goal wasn't perfect grammar, but making sure her message landed.
What we did
Jonathan focused the sessions on the skills with the biggest impact:
- A more natural speaking rhythm and more ease in spontaneous conversation
- Structuring answers and keeping the conversation flowing
- Pacing and intonation, so her ideas came across clearly on the microphone
- Plenty of speaking time, with targeted feedback on delivery and clarity
The result
By the recording, she could follow the conversation with far less effort, and shape it rather than just keep up. Her speech sounded more natural, her delivery more assured, and her ideas came across more clearly.
